Start with people you trust

Your emergency contacts are the people you choose to receive your SafeGuard alerts. Think about who knows you well, who understands your routines, and who you would want to hear from during a difficult moment.

The Essential Guardian plan includes two designated contacts. Family & Active Protection includes up to five contacts, while Elite Shield offers unlimited designated contacts. Choose your plan around the connections you need.

Have the conversation before you need it

Let your contacts know that you have added them to your safety circle. Explain what a SafeGuard notification means and how you prefer to be contacted. A shared understanding makes a notification easier to recognize.

On Family and Elite plans, a secure web tracking link can open in a contact’s browser without requiring the recipient to install the app. That makes access simpler for people who use different devices.

Keep your circle current

Revisit your selected contacts when phone numbers, relationships, or routines change. Your circle should reflect the people you want to reach today.

SafeGuard coordinates your personal contacts. It does not replace official emergency services or guarantee that a recipient will receive or respond to an alert. In immediate life-threatening danger, call 911 directly.

TAKE IT WITH YOU

Choose your contacts deliberately, explain what an alert means, and keep their details current.
