SafeGuard Each Other was conceived by personal safety advocates, tactical security professionals, and privacy engineers who asked a simple question: *Why should personal safety software cost your privacy, sell your location history, or fail when you need it most?*
We engineered SafeGuard Each Other from the ground up as a fail-safe personal protection ecosystem:

1. The Non-911 Safety Boundary
We believe in absolute operational honesty. SafeGuard Each Other does not claim to replace 911 or dispatch police officers directly. We coordinate your personal safety circle, verify your location, provide navigation to physical safe havens, and ensure evidence preservation.
2. Zero-PII & Zero Movement Monetization
Unlike consumer navigation and social apps that sell background location data to data brokers and advertisers, SafeGuard Each Other collects location data only during active emergency incidents or explicit check-ins. When SOS is disarmed, your GPS tracking ceases immediately.
3. Hardware-Level Cryptographic Evidence
Personal safety often requires evidentiary proof. Our Evidence Vault captures audio, imagery, and telemetry, locks it with your phone's biometric hardware (Secure Enclave / Keystore), and timestamps it with cryptographic SHA-256 hashes to ensure it can never be altered or refuted.
