A deliberate action, by design

The SafeGuard guide describes a 1.5-second hold-to-arm SOS trigger. The deliberate hold is intended to reduce accidental activation while keeping the control simple to use.

The website includes an interactive demonstration of that hold. It is a simulation: it does not send messages, collect your GPS location, record audio, or create a real emergency incident.

A moment to cancel

The demonstration shows a five-second cancellation window after activation. During that window, use Cancel demo to return to the ready screen. You can also reset the demonstration afterward.

In the app, cancellation and escalation behavior depends on the active session and plan. Review the controls in the app before you rely on them, and keep device permissions and connectivity in mind.

Keep your contacts connected

The supplied plan guide specifies 30-second GPS breadcrumbs for Essential Guardian, five-second tracking for Family, and one-second streaming for Elite during active incidents. Family and Elite include universal web tracking links.

Notification delivery depends on factors such as carrier coverage, network availability, device power, and operating system permissions. SafeGuard alerts your designated contacts; it is not government emergency dispatch.
